The Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities offers up to two unstipended Undergraduate Fellowships per semester to 勛圖腦瞳扦 undergraduate students who are either in their junior or senior year during the semester of the fellowship and who have a faculty mentor to guide them in their research.
All Undergraduate Fellows receive a small research allowance.
Undergraduate Fellows commit to present their work publicly at IASH, attend other fellows' presentations, and some fellows only meetings. The required IASH Speakers Series meets on Wednesdays, 12:00-1:30pm.
In addition to the form below, the application requires a letter of recommendation by the student's faculty sponsor sent separately by e-mail to iash@binghamton.edu by the application deadline. The letter should certify that the sponsor has read and supports the application and will be advising the student as they pursue their research project. An IASH undergraduate Fellowship project can be an honor thesis that is to be pursued in the fellows senior year.
